Editorial Policy

This policy explains how Cards Community chooses, writes, checks and corrects its content.

Original writing

All articles, descriptions and guides are written for this site. We do not copy text from publishers, wikis or other sites. Card descriptions are written in our own words and describe what a card is and why readers notice it. We do not reproduce the full text of cards or official rulebooks.

Facts and accuracy

We include factual information such as the game, expansion, release year, rarity and card type. We check these against public sources such as publisher announcements and official card checklists. If a detail depends on a specific printing, we say so. If we are not sure of a fact, we leave it out.

How we check facts

We compare the facts on our pages with reliable sources. For release dates and set details we use publisher announcements and official card databases. For rules we use the publisher's own rulebook or a respected reference site. We then describe the idea in our own words. If sources disagree, we choose the more cautious wording or leave the detail out instead of guessing.

Sources we use

• Publisher websites and official product pages.

• Established reference sites and encyclopedias for history and context.

We do not copy text from these sources. We use them to confirm facts.

What we do not publish

• Prices, market values or price predictions.
• Competitive rankings, tier lists or win-rate statistics.
• Investment advice.
• Official card artwork, unless we have a clear right to use it.

Images

The card visuals on this site are original illustrations created with HTML and CSS. They are not official card images. When we use an image from another source, we give a credit and follow its license.

Independence and trademarks

We are not affiliated with any game publisher. We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage. Game names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only for identification.

Corrections

If you find an error, write to [email protected]. We review each report and update the page when the correction is confirmed. Pages show a last-reviewed date.

Updates

Card games change often. We review the library regularly and update older pages when new information becomes available.
